We are sustainable
We try to cooperate only with local and regional suppliers and other culinary partners. The Gourmet Gasthaus Freyenstein pays attention to short delivery routes and seasonal products.
Approximately 50 % of our suppliers come from Lower Austria and up to 30 % come directly from Vienna. The other 20 % are made up of suppliers from Styria, Burgenland and the rest of Austria.
Up to 80 % of our wine selection come from Austria, as we also try to offer a regional range here. However, a few international classics should not be missing.
The green footprint and a “no-food-waste” mentality are important to the Gourmet Gasthaus Freyenstein and are in the foreground when planning and implementing the menu.
